Enby-splaining

It is so bloody offensive that so many people criticize non-binary individuals for being pretentious attention-seekers who just want to lecture dumb people about gender. I’m sorry, of course I have to lecture people as nobody seems to understand why people like me are non-binary. And its all because of this word that my AMAB arse dare not say out loud:

"Mansplaining"

Its basically a slur for penis-owning people like me. People who are chastised just for being generally smarted than all wom-people. People. I meant all people.

But, by coming out as non-binary, nobody can leverage that M-word against me anymore.

Take for example:

Me: "Well, actually, you aren’t going on holiday to Turkey you are going to Türkiye (toor-key-ay) because they changed their name with the UN in 2021. Also you are not going to Türkiye you are going to Cyprus which is a completely different country."

Them: "Oh stop mansplaining."

Me: "Ah. Well actually, I am non-binary so describing me as a “man” is offensive. You see, I identify outside of the binary man or woman gender. Now you are wrong on three accounts, congratulations"

I mean in all seriousness two things. Number one: do you really think enbies feel the need to explain their identity out of fun or is it because gender is a difficult concept that understandable most people don’t fully get as society doesn’t teach it at all? Because honestly most people, upon hearing the word non-binary, just seem to think it means the same as gay.

And number two: if you are going on holiday google where the fuck you are going not just if the hotel has a fucking pool.
